The mirrored surface is a universal image that attracts me.  The reflection is altered by the interaction of new segments hovering around this central focal point.  The object holds a position others can become apart of through conceptual abstraction enhanced by the interplay of opposing forms that linger, new surfaces that attract our sensibilities and colors that challenge our comfort zones.

My work is an exploration into celebration within this specific three dimensional context.  Through the integration of this reflective surface I hope to alter the self-portrait orientation of the viewer who is invited closer to experience how he relates to this imposition.

Gallery one explores earlier work derived from commissions beginning in 1999 around the theme “Tanz der Farben” or dance of colors.
